Brighton Lodge is a 21-room boarding house situated on a quiet residential street in central Parnell, 300m from the main shopping area and all the restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops this bustling inner city suburb has to offer. A 15 minute walk the other direction will take you to Broadway where you’ll find the fashion, shopping and entertainment district of Newmarket or the Auckland Museum and Auckland Domain. Five minutes’ walk to the Inner and Outer LINK BUS which comes every 10 minutes.
The Lodge has single and double rooms, some with private bathrooms and others with shared bathrooms. Some rooms have fabulous views and some rooms have a private deck.
All rooms come fully furnished with a bed, drawers, clothes hanging space, chair, and your own fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Prices range from $220 to $400 per week.
Your rent includes power and water. Unlimited Fibre Wi-fi internet is provided for free.
Common areas are cleaned weekly. Meals are not provided. You have full access to the kitchen to prepare your own meals. There is also a shared dining and lounge room.
You will be expected to keep your room hygienic, and to clean-up after yourself when you use the communal areas. A free washing machine and dryer are available.
We have very limited parking available on site to rent, please enquire for rates. Parking on the street is free but also very limited.
The average age is approximately 30, ranging from mid-twenties to 50 something. Most of them are either working or adult students studying in the city. About half are on working holiday or international student visas.
