West Terrace Lodge is an 18-room boarding house situated upstairs on the corner of Karangahape Road and West Terrace in the city centre.  A further four rooms are available in a separate house next to the lodge.

All rooms have been recently refurbished and are furnished with a bed, wardrobe, drawers, chair, fridge/freezer and pantry cupboard.

The rooms come in a range of sizes, starting with our affordable single rooms at $190 per week up to $270 per week for one person with an extra $40 per week for the second person in the room.

Your rent includes power, water and internet.  Common areas are cleaned weekly.  Meals are not supplied. You will be expected to keep your room hygienic and clean up after yourself when you use the communal areas.

Communal facilities include five toilets, four showers with one kitchen and dining area.

The house has its own bathroom, kitchen and washing machine, with the additional benefit of access to the lodge facilities.

There is a coin operated washer and dryer available.

Parking is generally unavailable onsite, although from time to time carparks become available to lease.

There are currently 22 flatmates, 12 male and 10 female.  The average age is approximately 30, ranging from early twenties to 50 something.  Most of them are either working or adult students studying in the city. About half are on working holiday or international student visas.
